This book came highly recommended from a couple friends. I haven't quite finished reading it, but it already has lived up to it's recommendation.
This book helps step parents to see where they fit in and how the dynamics of the family changes with new members. I have lent this book to other families living in step.
This is an honest look at stepfamilies. I would recommend for anyone thinking about marrying someone with kids. It includes the cautions and warnings you should think on.
Gives a great analysis of the difficulties blended families have to deal with from all sides. Even goes into uncharted territory, talks about subjects that are uncomfortable to discuss with your spouse or even a therapist.
IF you are divorced or single .. and IF you are thinking about getting married to a person who has children they are bringing into your upcoming marriage .. step-children if you will .. this book is MUST READING .. this book is ABOLUTE MUST READING ..
